Training Refund & Cancellation Policy

How refunds, cancellations, transfers and rescheduling work for enrolment in Connect Centre's training programmes.

1. Scope

This policy applies to enrolment in training programmes run by Connect Centre Pte Ltd ("Connect Centre", "we", "us", "our"), whether public-run intakes or in-house programmes delivered for an organisation. It governs the commercial course fee payable for a programme. It forms part of, and should be read together with, the registration agreement issued to you at enrolment. Where a specific programme or organisation contract sets out different terms in writing, those written terms prevail.

2. Fee Payment

The Fee Payment refers to the full commercial course fee for the programme you are enrolling in, as quoted to you in writing at the point of enquiry or registration. There is no separate registration fee or booking fee; the amount payable is the course fee stated on your registration confirmation or invoice. A place on a programme is confirmed once we receive your completed registration and, where required, payment or a valid organisational purchase order. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the course fee is payable before the programme commencement date.

3. Cancellation of Class (by You)

If you or your sponsoring organisation wish to cancel your enrolment entirely, written notice must be received at least 2 weeks (14 days) before the programme commencement date. Where this notice period is met, you are entitled to a full refund of the course fee, less an administrative charge, or a no-cost transfer to a future intake of the same programme, at your choice.

4. Withdrawal of Class (by You)

Where notice of withdrawal is given after the cancellation window above but at least 1 week (7 days) before the programme commencement date, the course fee is refundable at 50%, or you may take a one-time transfer to a future intake at our discretion. Withdrawal notice received with less than 1 week before the start date is treated as a late withdrawal and the course fee is non-refundable, though a complimentary one-time transfer may still be granted at our discretion.

5. Reschedule of Class (by You)

If you simply wish to move your confirmed place to a later intake of the same programme, rather than cancel or withdraw, written notice must be received at least 7 working days before the programme commencement date. One reschedule is permitted without charge; a reschedule requested with less notice, or any subsequent reschedule, may be subject to an administrative charge and is granted subject to availability on the new intake date.

All cancellation, withdrawal and reschedule requests must be made in writing (see section 11). The notice period is calculated from the date we receive your written request.

6. Replacement Participant

If a registered participant is unable to attend, a colleague from the same organisation may attend in their place at no additional charge, provided we receive the substitute's details in writing at least 3 working days before the start date, and the replacement participant meets any stated entry requirements for the programme.

7. Non-Attendance and No-Show

If a registered participant does not attend and no prior written notice of cancellation, withdrawal, reschedule or replacement has been received, the course fee remains payable in full and is not refundable.

8. Postponement or Cancellation of Class by Connect Centre

We make every effort to run programmes as scheduled. However, we reserve the right to postpone, reschedule or cancel a class, for example where enrolment numbers are insufficient, where a trainer is unavailable, or due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel a class, you may choose either a full refund of the course fee paid, or a transfer to the next available intake of the same programme at no additional charge. Where a class is postponed or rescheduled by us, we will offer you a place on the rescheduled date or, if you are unable to attend, a full refund of the course fee paid. Our liability in these situations is limited to the course fee paid; we are not responsible for any incidental costs you may incur, such as travel or accommodation.

9. Course Materials and Digital Access

Where a programme includes course materials or digital access that have already been issued to or accessed by a participant, the value of those materials may be treated as non-refundable, and this may be deducted from any refund otherwise due.

10. Brochure and Advertised Course Information

Programmes are delivered in line with the course title, syllabus, duration, mode and fee advertised in Connect Centre's brochure, website or other marketing materials current at the time of your registration. We take reasonable care to keep this information accurate and up to date. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the assigned trainer, venue, or minor aspects of course content, where necessary, without this being treated as a cancellation. Where a material change is made to an advertised programme before the start date, for example a change to the core syllabus or a significant fee increase, we will notify registered participants and offer the standard cancellation or transfer options set out in this policy.

11. How to Request a Refund, Transfer or Replacement

All requests must be made in writing to contactus@connectcentregroup.com, and should include the participant's name, the programme title, the intake date, and the reason for the request. We will acknowledge your request and confirm the outcome in writing. Approved refunds are processed to the original method of payment.

12. Refund Processing

Where a refund is due, we will process it within 30 days of confirming the outcome of your request. The time taken for the refunded amount to appear may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

13. Funded or Sponsored Programmes

Where a programme is delivered under a funded or third-party sponsored arrangement, additional or different terms may apply and will be set out in your registration agreement. Those terms take precedence over this policy to the extent of any inconsistency.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version that applies to your enrolment is the one in effect on the date your enrolment is confirmed. Please refer to the effective date below for the current version.
